the old lady told me
you look young
for your age.
i feel young
for my age.
like i'm living on a whim -
but not the rebellious kind -
like the guy who has to fly the plane
because the pilot keeled over
between cleveland and dallas.
eventually we all crash land.
just try to avoid
lakes and rivers -
and especially oceans.
